After I visited a county jail and a state prison and met with two deaf inmates, I reread Dr. Katrina Miller’s book and found it most relevant and informative so I am submitting a book review for deafinprison readers. The Costs of Incarceration- Canada Correctional services expenditures totaled almost $3 billion in 2005/6, up 2% from the previous year. Custodial services (prisons) accounted for the largest proportion (71%) of the expenditures, followed by community supervision services (14%), headquarters and central
