We want to hear from you. You can comment on any post directly from the post page, but if you have anything else to say, we have created this contact page.

DeafInPrison.org is a twelve-year-old effort to bring awareness to the difficulties faced by Deaf inmates and defendants. When we transitioned to our new domain, our editor, BitcoDavid, did all he could to archive the old site. However, HTML robots can only do so much. If you encounter an article that is damaged, missing its graphics or videos, or otherwise broken, please use this contact form to bring it to our attention. It may take quite a while to repair all the damaged files, but it is part of our commitment to do so.

Speaking of graphics, we’ve spent years archiving, curating, and collecting graphics for this site. I have always been proud of our large collection of photos and videos. Many of these came from the Web. In the original articles, careful attention was paid to proper citation and permission. All this data has been lost. If you see a graphic on DeafInPrison.org that belongs to you, please reach out to me for citation, permission and other resolution. (This one’s Jack and I Know he’s OK with it.)

We accept submissions for posts. Material must be relevant to the Deaf community, the justice system, state or federal prisons and jails, or law enforcement. All submissions will be edited for content, readability, grammar, and length. Standard posts are between 250 and 500 words. BitcoDavid will add graphics and links. If requested, we will link to your site or organization. Link-backs are important to us. If we link to your site, I would appreciate your link back to ours. Use this page form or email me directly here.

You can also contact me if you’re looking for information collected in cookies or other tracking technologies. And please remember. DeafInPrison.org cannot survive without your support. Please visit our donation page and consider giving whatever you can.
