There are more restrictions about mail coming into Greensville CC, than there were in FL. Felix told me mail is being returned to the senders.
All mail and email that Felix can get goes through JPay. JPay is a private company that handles communications between inmates and their friends and families on the outside. There are some rules that you’ll need to know, if you want Felix to receive a letter or email from you.
- Mail is limited to 1 oz per envelope – 1 stamp per 1 oz.
- No more than 5 pages or 5 pictures per envelope.
- Envelopes can be no larger than 4×6 inches.
- Felix cannot receive stamps, however, self addressed stamped envelopes are allowed. Of course, you cannot send Felix any money in cash form. Canteen money can be handled through Jpay.
You will need to set up an account on JPay. From there, they will help you locate Felix, and see to it that he gets whatever you want to send him. There are 37 kiosks at the Greensville facility, and they offer the following services:
- Send Money
- Outbound Email (Felix’s replies)
- Music

Stamps generally amount to 25¢ each. He doesn’t see email addresses or any private information, only your name.
